WHO IS KELLY?

Kelly Dempsey is an acclaimed sustainable fashion designer who is recognized for her innovative approach to upcycling thrift store treasures. Raised in a creative and resourceful environment where her mother ran a craft store out of their home, Kelly’s passion for fashion and sustainability was ignited from an early age. Her unique design philosophy and dedication to sustainability have earned her accolades, including landing runner-up on Season 14 of Project Runway and having her recycled designs featured in Marie Claire and on Good Morning America.

Inspired by her experiences and realizing the negative impacts of fast fashion, Kelly has launched this online learning center to empower others. Her beginner-friendly sewing and upcycling courses offer a hands-on and creative approach for individuals to take fashion into their own hands. With over 500 students already enrolled and growing, Kelly’s courses provide an opportunity to combat fast fashion and the “throw away culture” so prevalent today.

Kelly’s vision goes beyond creating unique and fashionable clothing. She believes in the power of individual choices and the ability to make a positive impact on the environment and humanity. By acquiring valuable skills through her courses, students can diminish their dependence on mass-produced clothing and contribute to a more sustainable future. Kelly’s mission is to inspire and cultivate a community of like-minded individuals who share a vision of restoring integrity to the fashion industry.
